Businesses have a duty of care to dispose of rubbish responsibly
Owners of businesses must make sure they deal with any waste they produce in a responsible way. We do not provide rubbish or recycling collection services for commercial waste (though if required, we can ask our contractor Veolia to provide a quote for a commercial collection service).
Business owners should check that any company or contractor they employ to dispose of their waste is licenced to do so. The Environment Agency Waste Register lists licenced waste disposal companies.
Business owners have a duty of care to make sure the waste they generate is disposed of properly. You can find out more on the GOV.UK website.
If rubbish is found fly tipped and traced back to a business, the business will be held responsible, and could be prosecuted.
