Submitting CIL form 1 as part of a planning application
There are certain applications that you must submit CIL forms, so that we can determine the amount of CIL it is liable for.
It is mandatory to supply a completed CIL PAAIR Form (CIL Form 1) with the following Planning Applications:
- full planning permission
- full planning and demolition in a conservation area
- full planning and listed building consent
- full planning and display of advertisements
- householder planning permission
- householder planning and demolition in a conservation area
- householder planning and listed building consent
- approval of reserved matters
- removal/variation of a condition
It is also mandatory to supply a completed CIL PAAIR Form with these Prior Approval submissions involving residential uses:
- Prior Approval/Notification of a proposed Larger Home Extension (until May 2019)
- Prior Approval of Proposed Change of Use of a building from Office (Use Class B1) Use to a use falling within Use Class C3 (Dwellinghouses)
- Prior Approval of Proposed Change of Use of a building from a Retail (Use Class A1or A2) Use or a Mixed Retail and Residential Use to a use falling within Use Class C3 (Dwellinghouse), and for Associated Operational Development
- Prior Approval of Proposed Change of Use of Agricultural Building to a Dwellinghouse (Use Class C3), and for Associated Operational Development
- Notification for Prior Approval for a Change Of Use from Storage or Distribution Buildings (Class B8) and any land within its curtilage to Dwellinghouses (Class C3)
- Notification for Prior Approval for a Change of Use from Amusement Arcades/Centres and Casinos, (Sui Generis Uses) and any land within its curtilage to Dwellinghouses (Class C3)
