Maintaining a strong local economy is one of the strategic priorities outlined in our Council Strategy. Our 
WBC Economic Development Strategy [11MB] was approved by Executive in April 2020. However, in light of the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on our local economy, we created an
Economic Development Strategy Refresh [10MB] , which was approved by Executive in June 2021.
