Let's Talk
Speak to someone face-to-face to get advice and find help at one of our Let's Talk drop-in sessions. Whether you have questions about a council service, filling in forms, or just need some guidance, our friendly team is here to help!

What to expect
Our drop-ins are relaxed and informal, so you can just drop in and chat without an appointment.
Council staff will be at each session. Some sessions might involve other teams and organisations, including:
- recycling advice sessions from our waste team
- our Specialist Information team, who can help with family and/or Special Educational Needs related questions or concerns, and signpost to council or partner services
- NHS health checks from Solutions4Health (for ages 40 to 74 - if you're not that age, you can get a general health assessment)
- environmental health, trading standards and licensing advice sessions from our Public Protection Partnership
We will include information on the dates below where other teams will be joining us!
Sign up to our mailing list and you'll receive a monthly email with upcoming sessions - perfect for knowing when we'll next be holding events near you.

About our partners
Solutions4Health will be at a number of our sessions to provide NHS Health Checks for people aged 30 to 74 who live or work in West Berkshire. These checks include height and weight measurements, blood pressure, cholesterol, blood sugar testing, and tailored lifestyle advice. For those not eligible for the full check, they offer a General Health Assessment to help you stay on top of your wellbeing.
Public Protection Partnership is a shared service providing environmental health, trading standards and licensing services on behalf of West Berkshire Council and Bracknell Forest Council. These services include a wide range of topics from environmental protection to fair trading, food safety to animal health and housing standards to taxi licensing and much more.
