Running in West Berkshire (Run Together)

Want to get active, but need some help getting started?

If you're new to running, or just out of practice, there are a number of free running groups especially for beginners in West Berkshire to help you get off on the right foot. These are organised in partnership with Run Together.

The weekly sessions are fun, friendly, and free of charge, taking place in parklands and open spaces. They're suitable for complete beginners or those who've been inactive for a while - you just need to wear some comfortable clothing and trainers to join in.

Qualified run leaders lead a short run and are on hand in each session to offer advice, support and feedback, helping you progress and adopt good technique.

You can view and book most of the Run Together sessions on the Run Together West Berkshire website.

They also run an occasional Sunday session called 'Trailblazers' at Wash Common Memorial at 10am.

All sessions are free to join but we do ask that you register with Run Together first here. You will then be able to sign onto a session. For more information contact: Sue.Bennett1@westberks.gov.uk or visit Run Together on Facebook

The sessions are a great opportunity to meet new people, make friends and enjoy the outdoors whilst improving your fitness.
