Cycle Training
Improving bike riding skills for individual adults, families and children in West Berkshire
Cycling is a life skill. Once you learn to ride you never forget, and it gives you the opportunity to explore our beautiful district. We have created a number of cycle routes for you to enjoy.
There should be no barriers to cycling, but for many, having confidence and understanding our position as another vehicle on our highway can prevent us from getting on our bikes. Bikeability is the modern standard for cycle training, giving everyone the skills and confidence to cycle on today's roads.
The training is approved by the government, and delivered by instructors meeting nationally-approved standards. West Berkshire Council contract local instructors to deliver the training on our behalf - these instructors are enhance DBS checked and comply with Safer Recruitment processes.
