West Berkshire Schools celebrate Outstanding achievement

 

This year, 95% of schools in West Berkshire have been rated Good or Outstanding by Ofsted, placing the district well above the national average of 90%.

With 11% of schools recognised as Outstanding, these results reflect an enduring commitment to raising aspirations and delivering a high standard of Education for children and young people across the region.

Councillor Heather Codling, West Berkshire's Executive Member for Children and Family Services, said:

"This isn't just about inspection results. It's a shared achievement, built on the dedication of teachers, parents, governors and pupils working together.West Berkshire's long-standing track record highlights years of consistent investment in educational quality, and these latest ratings prove that our commitment to the future of every child remains stronger than ever."
